A Hard Start
Dog training is never easy, especially if you have new dog or if you are just starting on to train your own dog, and they are more stubborn than your kids. And communicating with them is hard and for some people it may be impossible to do.
It requires any person to have a very long patience when training their dogs, because training them would take a long time, and you’ll have to repeat every single routine or tricks for them be able to familiarize the tricks that you are trying to teach them, even with the simple tricks such as to sit, down, stay, heel, recall (“come” or “here”), and close (loose leash walking) will require a very long patience and dedication.
Pay Off After Your Hard Work
Your patience and your outmost dedication in training them will be fruitful and you will be fully rewarded once you see your dog or other pets that you are training has finally mastered or familiarized the tricks that you thought them, giving you the best pay off after a hard, complicated and agonizing training with your pet.
But also you’ll have to be careful when you are training them, you don’t need or you should never lose your temper when training them, since dogs can feel your fears and frustrations and one fact that you should know is that dogs are very sensitive and affectionate animals.
So, in this case when you train your dogs and other pets you should show them affection and attention during your trainings, the best way to do this is to give them messages that will acknowledge them when made a good job or they got the routine or the trick right.
A Good Communication is Rewarding
This is also called a good communication between you and your dog, it only shows that your dog can understand the signs that you are teaching it, the great or the best way of doing this is to have a “reward or release marker” that will tell them that they did something good and they will have a reward for it, or a “keep going signal” that tells them that if they do continue doing the right thing, a reward will be given right away.
And also, you should also give them a sign, correction signal or a penalty if they have made a mistake while performing or doing the routine or the trick, this is also done to prevent them from doing the same mistakes again, this also called the ‘no reward marker” telling them that they performed the trick incorrectly or the “punishment marker” it does not necessarily mean that you will punish them physically but instead it will tell them that if they perform the wrong trick over and over again they will be punished by not receiving any reward.
These signs or messages that you send them are important to balance their understanding whether they are doing the right trick or not, and the most important thing is that you’ll have to show love and affection during training because it will earn you respect and love in return.
